Welcome to Concrete Jungle!

As some of you may notice we've had a MAJOR character clear up on site. We're now leading the way for a more active site. We'd like to give a big welcome to the newer members of the site and we hope you enjoy your time here :) The admins here at Concrete Jungle are always trying to make this a fun and comfortable place for YOU the members, so if you have any ideas or suggestions please feel free to pm us! And to any guests, we have an admin online for as much of the day as possible so please if you have any questions, leave us a message in the cbox, if you're in doubt attack an email to your comment. So I'm going to keep this nice and simple now... First of all when you register please sign up with you FIRSTMIDDLELAST name. Make sure you check the character list before you sign up and try not to end up with the same name as a character we already have (unless you're family) because come on... how many names are there out there? Do you not want to be original? Please make sure you've read these properly. We don't have a lot of rules but we expect the ones we have to be upheld. We expect everyone on the site to be treated fairly and with a lot of respect. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. We don't have a specific word count but we expect you to be able to post enough that the other person can reply. Nobody on this site is perfect just like in real life and we also don't expect you to do any godmodding of other people's characters. Finally we expect you to be ACTIVE!! The point of the site is to roleplay so what is the point of signing up and singing in just to do nothing? We're easy going here but we expect you to keep to these rules for us. Thank you.

Cbox Rules::
You will find most of these twice as there is a little graphic besides the cbox however there are more here than on there and they are still important and it is vital you read them and adhere to them:

  • No spamming

  • Do NOT hassle people for posts. Saying that you have posted is fine but "are you going to post yet? are you going to post today?? i really want a post" is NOT appropriate and not fair. A post will be posted to when the person see's fit.

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... do NOT sit in the cbox saying 'im bored' all the time. We have a WHOLE SITE for you to explore and if you're that bored there are plenty of things to do. Go start a thread or something, but don't bitch and moan in the cbox.

  • For the most part the cbox is to be used for advertising a thread, informing someone that you have replied, or chatting ICly. Discussion of plot elements or personal life should be kept to a minimum. That's what Personal Messages and instant messaging services are for.

  • No Rpging in the chatbox until your character has been accepted. It is okay to ask questions, but sometimes we have noticed members actually break out with in character chatbox rpg. So no RPG in the chatbox till accepted. It isn't fair to other members in case the character never becomes a character and it is only fair on both parts to do so once accepted.
